Greetings

I don't know how you found your way here, but welcome. My name is Ancasta, and this site has been created to house my fic and vids, and to give me a place to blather on about what I love in my select fandoms.

Currently, I'm active in The Professionals and Starsky & Hutch as a writer and vidder. In November 2008, I posted my first Veronica Mars vid. Previously, I was a vidder for Enterprise. I'm also a big fan of The Sentinel, although I haven't really contributed anything of any note beyond a few drabbles. I imagine I'll have a little something to say about all of the above and may even throw out the occasional comment or project for Life on Mars, Doctor Who, Supernatural or some other television show or movie I enjoy. Who knows when the creative bug might bite?

Real life has just been kicking my butt lately. However, back in September, I'd completed a vid for Driver Picks the Music's Mix & Match Contest. It's been killing me to sit on something this long without posting. But the contest is now at an end and I'm ready to share. Behold--it's my first ever Veronica Mars vid.

Driver Picks the Music and its fans were very kind to my VM debut, awarding it two of those lovely DPTM Awards. I was also the only person to guess right on the eight vids entered in the Mix & Match competition. Woo hoo! It was fun to play detective (like Veronica Mars!) and try and match the work to the artist. I encourage you to check out the other entries (the links should be archived on DPTM shortly). Thanks as always to Brighette and Wolfpup, both exceptionally talented vidders themselves.
